HubSpot CRM
Contacts and companies form the core of HubSpot's CRM, and WorkSights brings these updates into the timeline so teams can see what's happening without opening HubSpot.
For connection steps, see HubSpot Setup.
What WorkSights Receives
- New contact or company creation
- Updates to contact fields
- Updates to company fields
- Changes that occur simultaneously across multiple fields
WorkSights receives the details HubSpot sends for each change, including the field name, updated value, and the object affected.
How CRM Activity Appears
CRM events appear on the timeline using HubSpot's purple color. WorkSights maps CRM activity to the General activity category, following WorkSights's standard color system. Each entry shows a short description of the change. Example entries include:
- Updated HubSpot contact field
- Created HubSpot company
- Updated HubSpot company field
When multiple fields change at the same time, WorkSights groups them into a single consolidated entry to keep the timeline readable.
Data Notes
Only fields HubSpot's API includes in its event payloads will appear. Marketing activity such as list enrollments and email campaign sends is not supported, as HubSpot does not provide webhook coverage for these actions. All CRM data follows HubSpot's permission model. WorkSights cannot display fields the authenticated HubSpot user cannot access.
Troubleshooting
If HubSpot CRM activity is not appearing as expected:
- Confirm the HubSpot integration is connected and the affected user is mapped by email.
- Check that CRM visibility is enabled in the Features tab of the HubSpot integration page.
- Only fields HubSpot's API provides will appear. If a specific field is missing, confirm it is accessible to the authenticated HubSpot user.
- For persistent issues, contact support via the in-app chat.
