Attio Notes & Comments
Notes are where the real account context lives: call summaries, observations, handoff notes between team members. Comments are where in-the-flow thinking gets recorded on a record. Neither shows up in structured CRM data, but both tell you a lot about how an account is actually being managed. WorkSights captures both as timeline entries so that context becomes part of the continuous record of activity, not buried inside individual records in Attio.
How Notes & Comments Activity Appears
Both appear in the Default (CRM) category.
Notes include the parent record and the note title in the breadcrumb:
- Acme Corp > Q2 Business Review > Note created
- Sarah Chen > Intro call summary > Note created
Comments show the parent record:
- Acme Corp > Comment added
What WorkSights Receives
Notes: WorkSights captures note creation events for notes attached to people, company, and deal records. The parent record name and note title are resolved and shown in the activity title.
Notes can be linked to multiple records in Attio, for example a person and a deal. WorkSights currently uses the primary parent record for the activity title. Full multi-record linking is planned for a future update.
Comments: WorkSights captures comments added to records and objects. The parent record is resolved and shown so you can see at a glance where the comment was left.
What Is Not Captured
Note and comment edits and deletions are not currently captured. Only creation events appear on the timeline.
Note body text does not currently appear as a preview in the activity detail. You will see the note title in the breadcrumb, but not the content of the note itself. A body text preview is planned for a future update.
