Attio Setup

WorkSights connects to Attio using OAuth 2.0. Once connected, Attio delivers activity to WorkSights in real time via webhooks for all mapped users. Setup takes a few minutes and requires an active Attio workspace.

For an overview of how Attio activity appears in WorkSights, see Attio Integration Overview.

Step-by-Step Setup Instructions

Step 1: Start the Connection

  1. Go to Settings → Services
  2. Find Attio in the list
  3. Click Connect

Only Admins, Executives, and Owners in WorkSights can initiate this connection.

Step 2: Authorize WorkSights in Attio

WorkSights redirects you to Attio’s authorization screen. Review the requested permissions and click Allow to grant access.

Once you approve, WorkSights completes the setup automatically: your access token is stored, a webhook is registered for your workspace, and the connecting user is identified. You will be returned to WorkSights and see the newly created Attio connection. The connection is named after your Attio workspace, for example “Acme”.

No additional configuration is required in Attio. WorkSights manages the webhook registration on your behalf and it will not appear in Attio’s own settings UI.

Step 3: Review user mapping

WorkSights automatically maps Attio workspace members to WorkSights users by matching email addresses. Open the Users tab on the Attio integration page to review mappings.

For any user that did not map automatically, select the correct WorkSights user from the dropdown to complete the mapping manually. Only mapped users will have their activity attributed on the timeline.

Step 4: Review features

Open the Features tab to confirm which Attio feature areas are active for your particular users. WorkSights supports five: CRM, Deals, Tasks, Notes & Comments, and Calls. All are enabled by default. You can toggle individual features on or off at any time from this tab.

What Happens Next

Once the connection is established and users are mapped, WorkSights begins receiving Attio events in real time. Activity starts appearing on the timeline within approximately 20 minutes of your team’s first actions in Attio after connecting.

No historical data is imported. Only activity that occurs after the connection is established will appear in WorkSights.

User mappings and feature settings can be reviewed and updated at any time from the Attio integration page.
