Attio Tasks

Tasks in Attio are tied to records: a follow-up on a deal, a next step on a company, an action item on a contact. When a workspace member creates a task, WorkSights adds it to the timeline with the linked record and the task content. Task creation becomes part of the continuous record of how an account is being worked, not just an entry in a to-do list.

How Task Activity Appears

Task events appear in the Task category. The activity title shows the linked record:

  • Renewal — Acme Corp > Task created
  • Sarah Chen > Task created

The task body text appears in the activity detail rather than the title. The substance of the task, what needs to happen and why, is visible directly on the timeline without opening Attio.

Linked records are resolved at ingestion time. If a task is associated with more than one record, WorkSights uses the primary linked record for the title.

What WorkSights Receives

Task creation events: WorkSights captures tasks when they are created by a mapped workspace member. Both the linked record and the task body are resolved and included in the activity entry.

What Is Not Captured

Task completion and deletion are not currently captured. Only task creation appears on the timeline.
