Zoom Meetings
Completed Zoom meetings appear in WorkSights for every mapped and subscribed participant, host and attendee alike. WorkSights receives the session metadata after the meeting ends and creates a separate activity entry for each person who participated.
For connection steps, see Zoom Setup.
What WorkSights Receives
WorkSights captures the meeting title, meeting type, start and end times, and each participant's actual join-to-leave duration. The full participant list is fetched after the meeting ends, and participant emails are used to map attendees to WorkSights users and to build ClientSights Person and Company records.
Zoom Chat, recordings, transcripts, reactions, polls, and any meeting content are never received.
How Meetings Appear
Each mapped and subscribed participant receives their own activity entry. The title reflects their role: Hosted a scheduled meeting: Topic for the host, and Attended a scheduled meeting: Topic for participants. Duration shown is that person's actual time in the session, not the total meeting length.
Meetings appear in the Call category in cyan on the timeline. Activity appears after the meeting ends, not while it is in progress. Allow up to 20 minutes from when the meeting ends for the activity to appear.
Troubleshooting
A meeting is missing for a specific user
Confirm the user is mapped in the Users tab and that their Zoom and WorkSights email addresses match. Confirm the Zoom Meetings feature subscription is active. Confirm the meeting ended after the integration was connected.
Activity is delayed
This is expected. Activity is processed in batches roughly every 20 minutes after the session ends.
A meeting appears for the host but not for an attendee
Confirm the attendee is mapped by email and has an active Zoom Meetings subscription in WorkSights.
