HubSpot Sales

Deal activity from HubSpot appears in WorkSights so leaders can see pipeline movement alongside the rest of the team's work. When a mapped user creates or updates a deal, WorkSights receives the event and displays it on the timeline.

For connection steps, see HubSpot Setup.

What WorkSights Receives

WorkSights captures deal creation and field updates including stage, amount, close date, and title. Each change generates an activity entry for the deal owner. When multiple fields change on the same deal within 10 minutes, WorkSights consolidates them into a single entry with each change listed in the detail.

Deals are linked to their associated contacts and companies in ClientSights, so deal activity appears in context alongside the relationship records it belongs to.

Deal content such as attached files or internal notes is never received. Only field-level change metadata is ingested.

How Deal Activity Appears

Deal activity is categorized as General. Activity titles follow the pattern Created deal: Enterprise Contract or Updated deal: Enterprise Contract. When stage, amount, and close date change in quick succession, they appear as one consolidated entry listing each change.

Troubleshooting

Deal activity is not appearing

Confirm the affected user is mapped in the Users tab and that Sales is enabled in the Features tab. Confirm the user is the owner of the relevant deals in HubSpot.

Multiple deal activities appearing for one deal

Changes more than 10 minutes apart generate separate entries. This is expected. Only changes within a 10-minute window consolidate.

Activity is delayed

This is expected. Activity processes in batches roughly every 20 minutes.
