HubSpot Sales
HubSpot Sales covers deal activity. When a mapped user creates or updates a deal, or logs engagement activity on a deal, WorkSights receives the event and displays it on the timeline alongside calls, meetings, emails, and other daily work.
What WorkSights Receives
- Deal creation
- Deal field updates including stage, amount, and title
- Engagement activity associated with deals: notes, emails, calls, tasks, and meetings
WorkSights displays the details HubSpot sends, including which field changed, the new value, and which deal the activity belongs to. All associated engagement activity is grouped with the deal automatically. No manual linking is required.
How Deal Activity Appears
Deal events appear on the timeline using HubSpot's purple color. WorkSights maps deal activity to existing WorkSights activity categories. Calls map to Call, emails to Email, meetings to Meeting, tasks to Task, and deal field updates to General. Example entries include:
- Created HubSpot Deal: Example Deal 2109
- Updated HubSpot Deal field Stage: Example Deal 2109
- Created HubSpot note on Example Deal 2109
- Created HubSpot email on Example Deal 2112
- Created HubSpot call outbound: Call with [Name] on Example Deal 2109
- Created HubSpot meeting: Meeting regarding Example Deal 2109
When multiple deal fields change at the same time, WorkSights groups them into a single consolidated entry.
Data Notes
Only deal fields and engagement objects HubSpot's API provides will appear. Marketing-related deal triggers such as campaign enrollments are not supported, as HubSpot does not provide webhook coverage for these actions. All deal data follows HubSpot's permission model. WorkSights cannot display deals the authenticated HubSpot user cannot access.
