Pipedrive Setup
WorkSights connects to Pipedrive using OAuth 2.0. Pipedrive is currently available by request — contact us via in-app chat to have it enabled for your account before following these steps.
For an overview of how Pipedrive activity appears in WorkSights, see Pipedrive Integration Overview.
Connecting Pipedrive
Step 1: Start the Connection
- Go to Services in the top navigation
- Find Pipedrive in the list
- Click Connect Pipedrive
Only Admins, Executives, and Owners in WorkSights can initiate this connection.
Step 2: Authorize WorkSights in Pipedrive
You'll be redirected to Pipedrive to authorize the connection. You must be a company-wide admin in Pipedrive to connect — not just an admin on your own records. Webhooks only see what the connecting user's own access covers, so connecting as anyone other than a company-wide admin would mean WorkSights only ever sees that person's own deals and activity. If you attempt to connect without company-wide admin access, the connection will be rejected.
WorkSights requests read-only access to your deals, activities, notes, and users, plus the ability to register a webhook. WorkSights never requests write access to your Pipedrive data.
Step 3: User Mapping
WorkSights imports your Pipedrive users and matches them to WorkSights users by email. Open the Users tab to review mappings.
What Happens Next
Once connected, WorkSights begins receiving deal, activity, and note events from Pipedrive. Only activity that occurs after the connection is established will appear — there's no backfill of history from before connecting.
Connection settings can be reviewed and updated at any time from the integration page.
