Notification Settings controls how and where WorkSights reaches you when something needs your attention. You can reach it from Settings → Notifications in the top navigation.

Each notification type can be toggled independently across three channels: In-App, Email, and Slack. Turn any channel on or off to match how you prefer to work.

Notification Types

Notifications are grouped into three categories.

Observations

Observation Alert — Sent when an Observer surfaces a finding that needs your attention. This is the most important notification in WorkSights. Available across all three channels: in-app, email, and Slack.

Reports

Daily Report — Sent when your daily report is ready, typically at 7am in your local timezone. Available across all three channels: in-app, email, and Slack.

Weekly Report — Sent when your weekly report is ready. Available across all three channels: in-app, email, and Slack.

Account

Account Setup Complete — Sent when account provisioning has finished successfully. Available via in-app and email. Not available via Slack.

Account Setup Failed — Sent when account provisioning encounters an issue. Available via in-app and email. Not available via Slack.

Channels

In-App — Notifications appear in the bell icon in the top navigation. A red badge shows when there is something new. Clicking takes you directly to the relevant item in your Insights feed.

Email — Notifications are sent to your work email address. Observer alerts and reports arrive with enough context to understand the finding without logging in, and include a link to view the full detail in the product.

Slack — Notifications are sent as a direct message in Slack. Requires Slack to be connected under Settings → Services. Not available for account-level notifications.

Access

Notification Settings are personal, and changes you make here apply only to you, not to other users in your account.
